Rang Mehal is an ivory white kalidaar from an era that beholds tradition — hand worked with an overdose of kaamdaani, gotta, resham, dabka and naqshi, its skirt scattered with metallic points that gather into deep worked borders at the hem. Sabeena Farooq wore it for the Eliyah campaign, veiled in its own dupatta with fresh flowers at the wrist.
A Banaras lehnga sits beneath the kalidaar, and the dupatta comes fully embellished with heavy gotta and mukesh borders. Ivory of this kind is bridal without being expected — made, as the atelier intends, for nikkahs and weddings.
Coordinating pouch and khussas from the same story complete the look from head to floor.
