Choosing your bridal outfit

A bridal outfit is worn once and remembered for a lifetime, so the house builds these pieces differently: heavier base fabrics that carry weight gracefully, hand-worked zardozi, dabka and naqshi in dense panels, and linings finished so the dress feels as good as it looks after eight hours of celebration. Our brides choose between the traditional red and maroon register, antique gold for a softer classical look, and deep jewel tones for receptions.

Every bridal piece can be made entirely to your measurements. Because a bridal is the most involved thing we make, we ask brides to begin the conversation early — the atelier books up around wedding season.

Bridal dresses: questions we are asked

When should I order my bridal? Ideally three to four months before the wedding. Minimum lead time is 6–8 weeks.

What is included? Most bridals are three pieces — shirt or choli, lehenga or gharara, and a fully worked dupatta.

Can it be made to my measurements? Yes. Choose Custom at checkout and Zara will take your measurements on WhatsApp.
