Ayeza Khan for RJ’s Pret
Ayeza Khan wears the Shadmani edit — six embroidered formal ensembles built for the wedding season. Her styling leans to structured silhouettes and a restrained palette: polished velvet, mint and ivory, with the colour saved for the embroidery rather than the base. It is a register that photographs cleanly under evening light, which is why these pieces suit nikkah, walima and reception evenings more than a mehndi.
Every look below is a complete three-piece ensemble — shirt, trousers and worked dupatta — available in XS to XL or made entirely to your measurements.
The looks she wore
Mahnoor — £250. The most formal of the six: zardozi and crystal work on a classic silhouette with a fully embellished dupatta. For a barat or a wedding reception where you are close family.
Rangoli — £208. Violet, magenta and yellow embroidery on a zingerry green base — the brightest piece in the edit, and the one that belongs at a mehndi or dholki.
Naubahar — £192. Ivory and ruby pink with floral embroidery across the shirt. Soft enough for a daytime nikkah, dressy enough for dinner.
Chamak — £161. Mint green with fine mukesh work, lace detailing and a cotton-net dupatta — the lightest of the six and an easy evening choice.
Chandni — £154. Polished velvet in black with pearl detailing. A winter piece, and the one to wear when everyone else is in colour.
Jhilmil — £152. White with dense sequin work — an east-west fusion cut. Suited to a walima or an engagement, where ivory and white are traditional.
