Nazneen is cut from sheesha silk in a saturated marigold yellow, its panelled shirt seamed so the colour falls in soft columns of light. Delicate lace traces the edges and a run of small buttons closes the placket — restraint doing the work that heavier ornament usually would.
Below, a flared sharara in crushed silk, its lining attached, opens into graceful volume with every step, while the chiffon dupatta — finished with lace and lifted with subtle mukesh — is worn here draped over the head in the classic celebratory manner.
