The Rebecca kalidar takes the wide-ghera silhouette of Mughal dress and lets it fall uninterrupted, its single passage of ornament an intricately hand-worked zardozi neckline in gold. Photographed in a rich purple, it can be made in the colour of your choice.
The ghera opens beautifully in movement — sit, turn or dance and the dress does the rest. Pair it with a simple dupatta, or with one of the Timeless classics as styled in the shoot.
Which occasions suit this piece? Formal evenings and wedding functions — dholkis, nikkahs and receptions where a timeless cut carries the night.
How long until it arrives? Nothing is sold ready-stitched. Where the cloth is already in stock, your piece is cut and stitched to your size and dispatched in 3 to 7 working days; formal and heavily hand-worked pieces take 4 to 8 weeks. This page states which applies.
