Gold dori is worked in aari paisley motifs over appliquéd printed fabric, so the surface of the shirt reads in layers — print beneath, raised gold above — closed with handmade gota buttons down the placket. It is the kind of work that rewards a second look.
The shirt is paired with a printed farshi shalwar in bold florals and a two-tone dyed chiffon dupatta bordered in sequinned gota kinari.
